Cabrillo Beach
Point Fermin · West & South side · Figure 2 · no. 34
Typical beach break. Smallest surf in the entire area, except on a big S or SSE. Sandbars don't usually form up well until a few swells into the season. Can have decent waves, mostly lefts, on a mid-winter SE squall (rare). Breaks OK on normal winter swells, better over by the cliff.
Both scanned figures, warped onto the map. Pins follow the chart’s own numbering while it’s shown, so they match the red arrows.
Off keeps the map still while you step through breaks with ←→ or pick one from the list.
Only while zoomed out. Once you are close enough to read the break, tapping a pin leaves the map where it is.
Safari cannot open that dialog for a page, so it is two taps:
- Tap in Safari’s bottom bar
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
It then opens without Safari’s chrome, which is the only way to get full screen on an iPhone.
