Perfect A-frame peak, goes both ways. Direct south or SSE swell only. Must be big. Lowest tides only, minus preferred. Inside reef at medium tide called "Banner Reef", which can also break on a west swell. The outer reef out by the buoy (way out there) also breaks but only in winter on really huge swells. Old-timers claim to have ridden it through Cabrillo Point.
