Upper Indicator
Indicator · North & West side · Figure 1 · no. 16
A big, perfect left. A wonderful wave. Often a meaty, long wall. Can get hollow. High tide. Breaks best when big. Usually bigger than anything to the north of it. Also breaks good when relatively small on a perfect inside reef known as "The Finger". Indicator is one of the three top waves in the NW PV area, along with Haggertys and, of course, The Point at Lunada Bay.
Both scanned figures, warped onto the map. Pins follow the chart’s own numbering while it’s shown, so they match the red arrows.
Off keeps the map still while you step through breaks with ←→ or pick one from the list.
Only while zoomed out. Once you are close enough to read the break, tapping a pin leaves the map where it is.
Safari cannot open that dialog for a page, so it is two taps:
- Tap in Safari’s bottom bar
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
It then opens without Safari’s chrome, which is the only way to get full screen on an iPhone.
